Why ModelShipMaster.com?

1/Accuracy: we mind the unique curves and important features of ship hulls. Nobody else has crafted the beautiful hull of the Hinckley boat as above. Google "Hinckley Talaria model" and you will see how superior our details are. Some builders do not show their model's stern for this reason. The details on the research ship Knorr below surprised the ship's captain who admired the way we went about to obtain information. Our team's research skills have brought many beautiful memories alive.

2/Artistry: we make beautiful art pieces, not boring decorative accessory. Our models look alive and project characters, not 'dead' like a toy. We care about how your model looks overall so we add a wood inlay to most bases and shorten the pedestals when your model is small (Google 'Boston Whaler scale model' and you will see a pair of disproportionate pedestals.)

3/Our skills and our innovation are peerless: our models have many intricate parts and features that will delight you. The more you look the more you will ask "how did they do it?" The photo below shows an airplane that is taking off, and under its wings are a variety of ammunition- a feature that had never get done before, until 2022, by ModelShipMaster.

4/Integrity: a photo is worth a thousand words. We show photos instead of using seductive advertising language. Our photos are clear and large on computer screen. They show small quarters of the models for you to see if the parts are correct and sharp, if the windows are uniform and aligned, among other things. As a precautionary warning, do not view models on a phone -- too small to really see. We have repaired many models that looked OK from afar (equivalent to small photos) but accuracy and craftsmanship were substandard.

We don't overuse the phrase "museum quality." When you read the phrase somewhere, don't assume it's true, as a little museum in a rural area is still called a museum. Ask for proofs of models (names and photos) built for major museums. These institutions are in the business of showcasing precious and educational objects, their curators are knowledgeable and it is extremely hard to have a model in their buildings. We know the model ship business very well and we know many have lied blatantly just to make sales. Many of our patrons said that if ModelShipMaster was a museum, then that would be the greatest nautical museum in the world. We have actually sent numerous models to prestigious museums, book authors, and ship builders. That's why you rarely see that phrase from us.

5/Unlike other ship model companies who are mostly middlemen, ModelShipMaster is owned by a craftsman who actively involves in the research and production process. While other firms rely on fancy advertising, ours focuses on products. That is the reason we can build and repair ship models in California, while the salesman firms do not dare to accept a simple repair job.

6/We sell only what we produce. We are the only one in the USA that does not do drop-shipping. So when you buy from us, you are protected from junk. No horrible/fake item shows up at your door.

7/Rarity: due to the demanding nature of the art and the very limited number of capable artists, we produce very few number of any particular model. For example, in a period of 12 months, we build only a couple of tall ships and several cruise ships. World's best and limited items will always have their value increased exponentially when the time comes.

A model ship will stay with you for a long time. One can become a treasured heirloom or auctioned at Christie's while the other ends up in a garage sale. We hope the presentation above is informative enough for you. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at Services@ModelShipMaster.com or ModelShipMaster@Hotmail.com. Also, be sure to read our guarantee. We look forward to building a spectacular model for you.
